There are seasons in life when faith is tested in ways you never imagined. In a recent teaching on the Kathy DeGraw YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLL4NA9S9Nk&t=23s, I shared how the enemy always tries to steal, kill, and destroy at pivotal moments. When a promise is forming, when destiny is developing, when purpose is growing in the womb, opposition often increases. But so does authority.
The book Speak Life was birthed in a hospital room during a high-risk labor and delivery experience. As an intercessor and mother, I stood in the gap. Doctors gave concerning reports. Diagnoses were not promising. And yet, we asked a simple but powerful question: How do we pray against this?
The result was not just a miracle baby. It was a manual of precise, faith-filled, medically informed prayer declarations for fertility, IVF, pregnancy, labor, delivery, and healthy babies.
This is not just encouragement. This is spiritual strategy.
God’s Heart for Fruitfulness and Life
Scripture is clear that God is not indifferent to your desire for children. He is a covenant-keeping God.
In Genesis 1:28 NKJV, He declared: “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…’”
Fruitfulness was spoken as a blessing. Not a burden. Not a curse. A blessing.
Psalm 127:3 MEV reminds us: “Children are a heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward.”
If children are a heritage and reward, then infertility is not from God. Miscarriage is not from God. Developmental trauma is not from God. God’s heart is for life.
John 10:10 NKJV
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
When we experienced four separate life-threatening moments during labor, it was clear the enemy was attempting to steal destiny. But heaven intervened. The doctor himself said it was nothing short of the hand of God.
You may not be in a delivery room right now. You may be in an IVF clinic. You may be waiting for ovulation. You may be grieving a miscarriage. But the same God who intervenes in crisis can intervene in conception, hormone imbalance, blocked fallopian tubes, chromosomal abnormalities, and medical complications.
Praying with Precision: Faith and Medical Wisdom Together
One of the most powerful aspects of Speak Life is that the prayers are not vague. They are precise.
If there is PCOS, we pray for hormonal balance.
If there is a blocked fallopian tube, we pray for supernatural opening and restoration.
If IVF is involved, we pray for healthy egg retrieval, fertilization integrity, implantation success, and embryo development.
James 5:16 NKJV says: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Effective prayer means informed prayer. Strategic prayer. Prayer that understands what must happen biologically and declares alignment in Jesus’ name.
In Deuteronomy 30:19 CJB, God gives us a directive: “I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you will live, you and your descendants.”
Choosing life is not passive. It is vocal. It is intentional. It is decreeing over your womb, your DNA, your chromosomes, your placenta, your amniotic fluid, your labor process.
We researched medically what needs to occur in each trimester and created a 40-week prayer protocol so that as your baby develops, your prayers align with that development.
This is where faith meets function.
Overcoming Infertility with Authority
I never pretend to understand everyone’s journey. But I did experience infertility for a season. I experienced miscarriage. I experienced a partial molar pregnancy. I experienced waiting, hoping, and questioning.
And I also experienced breakthrough.
Psalm 113:9 MEV says:“He grants the barren woman a home, making her the joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord!”
Infertility can feel isolating. But it is not your identity. It is a condition that can be confronted in prayer and, when necessary, in deliverance.

Guarding Pregnancy and Labor
Pregnancy does not end at conception. It is a journey of protection, covering, and partnership with medical professionals.
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV declares: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you…”
Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest tools in high-risk pregnancy. But fear does not get the final word. Faith does.

Questions to Ask Yourself
Are there words I have spoken over my body that need to be renounced?
Have I come into agreement with a medical report instead of God’s promise?
Is there fear surrounding pregnancy that I need to cast down?
Have I asked the Holy Spirit to reveal any emotional or spiritual root contributing to infertility?
Am I partnering with both faith and wise medical counsel?
These questions are not accusatory. They are empowering.
Prayer Declarations Over Fertility and Pregnancy
Father, I thank You that You are the giver of life.
I declare that my womb is blessed, fruitful, and aligned with heaven.
I command every hormonal imbalance to come into divine order in Jesus’ name.
I speak life to my ovaries, my fallopian tubes, my uterus, and my reproductive system.
I decree that every egg is healthy, viable, and strong.
I declare that sperm and egg unite in divine timing and produce healthy embryos.
I command implantation to be secure and protected.
I declare healthy DNA, aligned chromosomes, and perfect genetic expression.
I speak protection over every trimester and declare full-term pregnancy.
I cancel every assignment of miscarriage, premature labor, fetal distress, and developmental delay.
I decree that my child will be born in health, strength, and purpose.
In Jesus’ name.
