What do you do when you see a child of God that you love or care about, blinded by their own understanding? Blinded by their own rationale? It is like a fog that obstructs their minds, and they don’t see any truth beyond themselves. What do you do when your words are met by a wall of pride and control? There is not a simple answer. Wisdom meets the foolishness that has wrapped the heart of your loved one, and there is a battle of the will that is not easy to win. Unless the will has surrendered to the King of kings.
What can you do except be quiet and pray. What do you do when the ears are closed to wise counsel? The mind is set on earthly knowledge and heaven is not welcome to rescue them from their fall or deception.
The desires of the heart have taken over the knowledge of the Word of God. Slowly their faith vanishes in the eyes of apathy and indifference. How is it possible to listen to the words of self-sufficiency trampling above the All-sufficient God? The decisions made are no longer considered wrong, but necessary to satisfy the reasons for their actions.
There is a cry within you that tries to release the sound of truth, revelation, and wisdom, yet the mountain of resistance stands in the way making it harder to get through. Then, I wonder where is the courage to fight what is righteously yours by Christ? Where is the release of the battle plan to fight against the enemy’s attacks? Why surrender your heaven’s inheritance? I ponder and struggle to understand. It is like heaven’s perspective has been modified and is no longer part of the equation in life.
I ask, what do you say? Sometimes boldness to speak out meets silence and quietness. Being still as prayer increases, the God of breakthrough is opening the way for miracles. Suddenly, the light of God shines through their darkness and hope rises. The persistent prayer calls for the God that overturns the powers of evil and establishes His Kingdom. No, there is no defeat in the call of God, but to arise as conquerors on behalf of our loved ones.
It is to call them forth to the Kingdom of God with a shout of victory because our King Jesus restored our position of dominion.
